6. "pathologically greedy and mean"

I've know too many examples of this, even the "good" people I know. I'm mocked by almost everyone I know for giving a damn about the mass-extinction we're starting. My fecund Christian neighbors are obviously educated but are also clueless about what their consumption and choices mean for the rest of species. I can not find a single person who realizes that 40,000 people, mostly children, will die of starvation today.
I'm sick of people patting themselves on the back for their "Humanity" As a species we are failing morally in the sickest, dirtiest ways.

Sorry to offend any of y'all humans reading this, but I've seen too much. All I hope for anymore is the animals, and the truth is that they all have a better chance the sooner we burn out.
