2. It's pretty common... but I've seen worse.

I've seen people who misinterpret it to mean that Germany now gets half of her electricity from solar.

Having said that... they're having an outstanding year for renewables production (even without a substantial capacity increase). The weather is really behaving better than it has in years. Fossil fuel use for generation is down across the board YTD - when the last couple years saw big increases in coal usage.
