In particular, the WahPost reference to as much as 5,000 to 6,000 ACROSS time, coupled with it depending on whether materials (steel) would be foreign or domestic made. This question has already been answered when the amendment to use US steel was voted DOWN.

I like the Pinocchio rating of information. If one had to rate where the hell my senator gets his information on "jobs!", I'd likely give it more Pinocchio than the article got. If you're the oil and gas industry, you're going to present a HELL of a lot of inflated jobs numbers to my sell-out senator.
