The only advantage of hydrogen fueled vehicles is the quicker fueling times.

If you could recharge you full electric vehicle in just a few minutes, then the inefficiencies of creating and storing hydrogen would be a non-starter, along with the billions it would cost to create the hydrogen infrastructure.

They already uses banks of super-capacitors to help smooth the power output from the big wind turbines.
