of republicans. Birds make our days happier and more fulfilling. We won't talk about the other.

Our cherry tree (ornamental) has ripe, small black fruit and all the birds in the neighborhood seem to be visiting - mostly tanagers, robins, thrashers, bluebirds - just wonderful (one year it drew a pileated woodpecker. Alas, not yet!)
