If pictograms and visual symbols were consistently understandable across generations, what is transpiring in this Sumerian Pictogram would be instantly understandable to anyone who views it.



But it is not.

There are tribes in existence today whose understanding of and ability to see colors in the same way as westerners has been researched and documented as being very different.
