How desperate we were for oil - to the point where we are literally breaking up the crust of the earth to squeeze every drop out of the rocks. And we're drilling deeper and deeper into the ocean floor, and crews are everywhere scouring the earth to find more. We're like addicts willing to go anywhere and do anything for our next fix! It's crazy!
