10. You sound like me on my meltdown last Fri. night.

Was out celebrating our son's passing his oral exam for his PhD dissertation. Saw rare steaks flying this way and that around me-- you know, the over-consumption in wasteful, expensive, uncaring ways.

I had a meltdown then and there. Had to spend 20 mins in the restroom just to compose myself. Ruined the celebration for my son.

He had worked so Damn fucking hard to get this degree. A PhD in theoretical particle physics is not easy to come by.

I was ashamed of myself but still bitter at all the blatant idiocy I saw in that restaurant. Pigs!! Sigh.

I hate ignorant, uncaring people. We all will suffer because of them.

(We have only this 1 child, btw.)
