1. My concern is when we hit the last hard stop.

So far we have had buffers. And being a super complex system, we will surely find another buffer as we continue to pollute our environment. However, when these cease to be sinks for our heat, we will see rapid increase in atmospheric temperature. Or so I believe. Just a hunch I've had for many decades.

It's so odd how at a time when most people are just getting concerned, I'm finally finding relief.
