14. Something hit me like a hammer yesterday

A friend of mine was talking about going to see the cherry blossoms in DC last weekend. I realized that my first date with Mr Laurel, to see the cherry blossoms, took place in mid-April 9 years ago. Peak blossom time has shifted that much in less than a decade.
