2. Three Russian Journalists injured by shelling on Syria-Turkey border

Three Russian correspondents were injured after a press convoy was shelled on the Turkish-Syrian border.

Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that cars transporting Russian journalists came yesterday under shelling attack with Tau anti-tank missiles as the convoy was moving in advanced sites controlled by the Syrian army in al-Dighmashliyeh area that leads to the strategic Zweik Mountain in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Three journalists sustained injuries in the attack, the statement added.

RT said its Arabic-language correspondent Sargon Hadaya is being hospitalized at the Russian air base after he was injured by pieces of shrapnel.
