Vicenza where I and my Maltese had spent a few nights some months earlier. I guess we waited in the car while grandma went to tell her daughter what was going on. A few minutes later, out pops grandma waving money. She said they were full, but her daughter remembered that they'd overcharged me, so here's my refund. I know the only reason she remembered me was thanks to the Maltese. The italians are crazy for Maltese...but the Maltese wasn't with us and daughter didn't come out and I'd never have known about the money. If at all possible, anyone going to Italy should definitely accompany a long-haired Maltese. You'll experience the Italian soul.
