...from just over 30 percent, in the lead while feuding with former justice minister Chu Mi-ae, last november down to nine percent according to a gallop poll this week.

Revelations about Yoon's "revenge" prosecutions against officials of the democratic administration have severely damaged his image. The acting chair of the disciplinary committee that sanctioned Yoon to a 2 month suspension from office overturned by an administrative court, publicly stated that he feared that Yoon's practices of politically motivated prosecutions and illegal investigations of judges smacked of the actions of the former dictators of South Korea and were a threat to lawful governance.
