which appears to be a legitimate source of information.

Recall that Russia was so fearful of invasion that the gauge of the tracks (distance between the two rails) is less than what is found in other countries. This change makes it impossible for another country to use the rail system in Russia during an invasion.

I'm trying to keep up the Ukraine/Russia coverage, but one of the blogs I usually post, "Reporting from Ukraine" has been inactive for over two weeks. I hope the content provider was not a casualty in the conflict.
