One thing about making cars: you can't really keep a secret about what you're doing, because what you do is embedded in every car. These guys just need to buy some of their competitors' cars, take them apart, and learn how to do it.
OR - and this would be more interesting - make something new, like a cheap & affordable electric car. With a market that big, the possibilities are endless.
