Bolting or throwing their riders. Putin has clearly lost his mind.

There's a great true story of Patton's army rescuing the famous Lipizzaners from the Spanish Riding School (moved from Vienna to Czechoslovakia), as well, as other valuable horses. Altogether, over a thousand horses, surrendered by the Germans in charge to the Americans, because they knew if the Russians got there first, they would eat the horses.

Patton was an old calvary man himself, and had actually competed in the Olympics. When told about this situation, he said--Go get them!
