1. The legality of Fatso's blockade is going to end up in the maritime courts at light speed

Traditionally, the Strait of Hormuz has been international waters, meaning any blockde is illegal. The court has dragged its feet about this because there is no way to address Iran's claim that the Strait is now part of their territorial waters without causing a bigger stink and widening an already extremely dangerous war. Thanks a lot, Fatso.

However, should the court wimp out and recognize Iran's seizure of this waterway as legal, the blockade becomes a more legitimate tactic of war and Iran becomes well and truly fucked.

So this is going to hit the courts and they're most likely to rule Iran's seizue of the Srait is illegal. IUt then becomes incumbent on everyone who uses the Strait to deal with Iran. Whether they will or not is moot.

Iran can't have it both ways, claiming the Strait is part of their territory while claiming a blockade is illegal because it's international waters. How it all plays out is the big question.

Fatso had one job, keep us out of another world war. It looks like he started one, instead. Because the Pentagon has been so slow to react to step up production of what we already use while starting a rapid development of a drone program with drones of various sizes and types.
