7. I love Maine. It's such a beautiful state.

The biggest difference aside from the availability of healthcare I find is that down here we have something we call "winter" (which really isn't much). In Maine, "winteh" is an entirely different creature.

Which reminds me of a funny story, just to lighten the mood. I had a next-door neighbor in Florida who was a Maine-ah through and through. When he still lived in Maine he had a surveyor come out to find the property lines. As it turned out, a couple of acres were actually in New Hampshire. Ol' Pete said, "wondaful! I'm movin' my house to tha otha end of the propaty." Perplexed, the surveyor asked why. Pete said, "because I'm tiahed of these God. Damn. Maine wintehs!"
