In reply to the discussion: My Sweet Cat Scarlet: August 14, 1995 – December 24, 2012 [View all]weetie
(20 posts)88. i'm so sorry
i love kitties and had two of the best ever myself. when my roo, a lilac point, died at 20 years old it was almost more than i could bear. my seal point, weetie, had died a year or so before at a ripe old age. oddly, my sister, who had given me my two cats, a seal point and and a lilac point siamese, got two more kittens with exactly the same markings as the ones i had lost. it's almost like they are looking out for me. those pictures of your kittens are so dear. hold on to the memories tightly. ill bet another touches your heart before too long. happened to me!

It's like losing half your life when you have an animal for 17 years and is now no longer there.

What beauties they are. You had her over 17 years so you apparently took very good care of her.
