I agree with you that there is too much homophobia in the world today and it is disheartening, sickening, and all too often tragic. I have no doubt as to the existence of Gay Christians, as one of my two closest friends may be counted among those ranks. He and I have engaged this debate for a number of years. Yet, we engage it with a measure of civility. I do count myself as one of the allies, if I may employ your term. Yet to suggest that I may not be welcome to discuss the question at hand, while having my sobriquet disparaged leaves me somewhat befuddled and saddened. Good day to you Sir.
