4. I'm a lifetime rural dweller, but I absolutely LOVE Seattle.

Wonderful, tolerant, kind people, very socially, politically, and environmentally conscious. Great food, drink, and music, lots to do, the surrounding area is gorgeous and great for recreation, there is the ocean and the Olympic Peninsula to the west, the San Juan Islands to the northwest, and the Cascades to the east. Capitol Hill and Pike St. were always a fun place for me to visit when working in or around Seattle.

It is no surprise to me at all that LGBT are flocking there, it is the only big city I would ever consider living in, except that I need lots of sunshine, and am irrevocably rooted in country life.

Seattle rocks!!!
