I think you did the right thing. Maybe, just maybe he'll think about it later. And maybe not. But people need to be called on this shit. And he's just going to have to get used to gay marriage, so there.

I wouldn't feel bad about calling him a bigot though. I would feel proud for standing up for your child and what is right.
