Here in NM, they started to issue same sex licenses in a few urban counties in August. It was all greeted with a yawn. The state supremes ruled last week to issue licenses statewide. Another yawn. Sometimes I love this state.

I think it might have been the smarter thing to do in Utah, start with SLC to get everybody used to the idea for a few weeks before the inevitable ruling came down. Unfortunately, the full might of the LDS church is going to be brought to bear against both the court and the ruling.
