Arrest made in transgendered woman's murder, burning

FORT MYERS, FL - Police have made an arrest in the case of a transgender woman whose burned body was found behind a Fowler Street business in June.

Terry Lynn Brady, 45, of Panther Lane in Fort Myers, is charged with killing 31-year-old Eddie James Owens.

Owens' body was found early the morning of June 19 at 2807 Fowler Street.

Detectives say they were able to link Brady to the crime with forensic evidence gathered after they identified him as a suspect.

This is horrific (they all are). At least we have a suspect. I will be following this one closely.
