1. There's so little time left in the session and things that are actually important haven't even yet been accomplished.
2. The DFL controlled Senate and the DFL Governor would make sure it either doesn't pass or gets vetoed.
3. It is this type of stuff that got the Republicans kicked out of their legislative majorities in the election a few years back. They really did suffer for their anti-marriage-equality constitutional amendment, and this will remind people why they really don't want the Republicans in power in St. Paul.
