From them, all anyone can expect are baby steps - and they're certainly miles from becoming the constructive, humanist institution they were meant to be.

Still, every time Francis makes these announcements you can just hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth among much of the curia (especially in his native Latin America) and of course the Opus Dei - and that's certainly a nice sound to hear. I'd keep a close eye on my tea if were this Pope.
