... there's some very interesting connections between gut flora and brain function.

"Nova Wonders" had an episode about it, and the microbes throughout our bodies.

The South Park writers obviously heard about it since they had an episode with everyone trying to acquire Tom Brady's poo, like 'the spice' from Frank Herbert's sci-fi novel, "Dune".
