My mother had four hungry mouths to feed. Time was always against her to keep up with laundry, house cleaning, potty training, tantrums, health issues etc. etc. etc.. To save time, she used a lot of canned and prepared frozen food. Gross. Olive drab colored sting beans from a can. Yech!
