Root canal therapy removes infection, decay and necrosis from the canal of the tooth along with the nerve and replaced with sterile gutta percha. Losing teeth is a bigger hit to a person’s general health than root canal therapy. I’d have to see a bunch of science saying otherwise before I’d believe this story.
