Immunizations - I get them but I hate them ! [View all]

I have another thread exploring a childhood incident that I think left me with a life long aversion to injections -
it's not the needle that bothers me - it's the actual injection.
I have six children, and used to line them up at the doctor's every fall for flu shots (lots of asthma in the family)

Do you know what it's like to talk six squirmy kids through their flu shots, then have to stand and smile and get yours?

I got my shingles shot this January - on the third try! The first time the pharmacy was out. The second time the pharmacist wasn't there. On the third try, I had to sit and wait 25 minutes before someone was freed up to give the injection.


Thinking about it - I'm probably about due for my tetanus booster!
