4. It does amaze me how almost no one I know

is completely healthy. Least of all people my age, and I'm 64. Sometimes I feel as if something is wrong with me because I don't have some chronic illness or condition.

I do think there are many underlying reasons, many of which no one thinks about. Diet soft drinks. Food additives. Fast food in excess.

Plus, most of us are bombarded by advertizing that tells us we're probably suffering from something that we really, realy need to be taking medication for. I don't have a TV, so I almost never see those ads, but I'll run across them in magazines, and I'm horrified by them. The constant refrain of "Something's wrong with you" does have its affect. People start believing that of course they have this or that condition.
