Haven't had a cigarette for about 6 weeks and I feel like crap [View all]

Has this happened to any of you? I feel like I have the flu with symptoms that come and go and jump around my body. I've had chest pains, lump in my throat sensation, sore throat, achy joints, sinus problems, parts of me (like throat and inner ears) feels swollen. I had anxiety attacks, asthma attacks, getting dizzy.

I don't normally have any issues. I'm the type that never sees a Dr. but I have recently since all this is kinda freaking me out. She said she thinks I have GERD. Pecid has helped a little with the lump sensation but everything else is there and I don't want to keep going back like a hypochondriac.

I've read on other sites where other people have issues similar to this after quitting. Any of you guys, and if so, what did you do and how long did it last?
