3. Yes, happened to me to. I am One month smoke FREE!

 

First get a good check up, blood work etc and make sure your OK physically. You might have had an undetected illness before you stopped smoking.

I have some of the same symptoms , little anxiety, draining ears, mood swings, cough etc. Remember, your body is still healing from years of smoking POISON. Takes time both physically and emotionally. You are doing great, keep it up.


Your brain will give you lots of messages to trick you into smoking, saying you need the nicotine to feel better. I look at it like it's a game I am playing with my brain/ pleasure centers. It has been trained over a period of years to urge you to smoke at certain times. The more you resist the urge, the weaker the "smoke me, smoke me" message will be.
I found this site to be extremely useful in explaining some of the side effects I was having. Once you understand where they are coming from, they are much easier to overcome.
