but what is with sea salt? Isn't salt NaCl, Sodium Chloride, whether it comes from the ground or is left over after sea water evaporates? It is always touted as if it were healthier than bad old regular salt. It's the sodium that is bad for you, as in high blood pressure.
I've gotten used to 'light salt' which is half sodium chloride and half potassium chloride, and only use that on certain foods that are too bland without it.
