My oven caught fire when I tried the self-cleaning function with the pizza stones in them. Since then, we are using our pizza stones in our gas grill. It gets up to 600 degrees and we have great results with it. No mess, no heat, and no smoke in the house. What is even better ... if they catch fire, I don't have to worry about the house burning up
