What's for Dinner, Sun., Mar. 13, 2022 [View all]

Cream of Mushroom Barley Soup. I used both fresh and dried mushrooms. It also has dry sherry in it. I used mascarpone instead of sour cream.

Thinly sliced ham on a baguette. I made Thousand Island dressing to use instead of mayonnaise.

I found the recipe in my Eating Well cookbook, but I found they had it posted at their web site, too.

Dessert is hot wild orange tea with fig-almond biscotti.
