5. I've tasted them, but it's been too long to remember

They used to grow wild along the river near my aunt's house in West Virginia. All I can remember is that they were sweet and "fruity." It was an occasion my aunt and her neighbors looked forward to, since they were only available about one week out of the year. I'd heard about them for years, and finally one year I was there at the right time.
