Because cold air is denser than warm air, it settles in the lowest areas of a landscape, creating "frost pockets" that receive early and late frosts.

So when the weather girl says spotty frost, I know we'll get frost.

Loretta went ahead and picked all her pepper plants and yellow squash yesterday. I need to pick all my (green) grape tomatoes before Thursday. I will miss all the fresh vegetables.
