1.19 is the going rate at aldis for chicken thighs (with bones and skin). But the last ones I got there were markdowns, so it was $2 off per package. I got a few packs and froze them. Checking the freezer just now, the top one in the stack was 3.92 lbs for $2.66 after the discount.

for comparison: $1.29 is the price this month for b/s chicken breasts at my local market. I bought 10 lbs, I'm roasting that and slicing it for sandwiches. Much cheaper than deli meat at 3-5 times the cost, and healthier.
