Smoking and grilling are 2 separate operations of course, as smoking takes "low (heat) and slow" to a whole other universe. Did you get the smoker box to go with it? If not, don't worry about it unless you want the convenience - it's mostly for flavoring purposes, which can be accomplished in other ways.

Let me give this some thought and do some research - now that I know you've got a NICE grill! Will PM or get back to you later today on this thread.
