1. my sister gave me some old dried out jujubes she got from a pot luck

occasion for her Arabic class, they were sweet but too dry to eat (had been sitting at her house for too long) so I tried planting the seeds. They germinated and are growing in a couple of pots. I know where there is a remnant population in what was once a Chinese truck garden near town. Kind of tickled to grow these old fashioned things.
