Breakfast! Refrigerator Cinnamon Rolls in the Air Fryer [View all]
OK I bought this tube of cinnamon rolls to test in my air fryer and this was the day. I used a small silicone cake pan that fit in the air fryer basket so I could add extra goodies.
Loaded Cinnamon Rolls
Soak 1/2 C raisins in Sherry until soft
2T melted butter, divided
1/2 C packed brown sugar, divided
Powdered cinnamon to taste
1 tube refrigerator cinnamon rolls
1/4 cup chopped nuts (I used walnuts)
Pour all but about 1 t. of the melted butter in the cake pan. Sprinkle half the brown sugar over the melted butter. Spread the raisins over the bottom of the cake pan. Sprinkle on as much cinnamon as you like, I use lots. Place the cinnamon rolls in the cake pan. It will be a tight fit, but that's OK this will force them to rise up rather than spread out. Use a chopstick or a small knife to poke holes around the layers of each roll and push in the chopped nuts. Brush the top of each roll with the the reserved 1 t. of melted butter. Dust more cinnamon on top.
Set the air fryer at 360 for 8 minutes. Check at 6 minutes. When the cinnamon rolls are done, drizzle the frosting on top and serve warm, spooning up some of the raisins and the sauce over your roll.
If you are in a hurry, you can skip all the extra goodies I added and just go for the plain Jane version which is still going to cook fast in the air fryer.
