I got it at JCPenney at a Black Friday sale in 2018. It was $5 after the mail in rebate. I figured it'd be a good way to try one out before buying a "good" one. It's still working just fine and I use it a lot. Mine is just a small one, and I've thought about buying a bigger one, but then figured I'd just eat more.

Yes, onion rings are great. I used to stop in at Sonic for onion rings every once in awhile, and now I don't have to. Bonus, they're not so greasy. I even make those little pot pies, but I do a combination of air fryer and microwave to make sure the center is done.

IMO, an air fryer is a great purchase. I'm sure that even if I had paid a lot more, it would have paid for itself in electricity savings because I don't have to preheat an entire oven, plus baking time, just to make one thing.

I can't wait to try the cinnamon roll thing, but I have some great bagels that I need to eat first, while they're fresh.
