My Devil's Ivy plant is discharging an oily substance on the pot [View all]

It's dark, doesn't smell too bad, and doesn't seem to be affecting the plant itself. The thing is 20 years old and healthy as can be.

Any idea what this is? It happens almost daily, the oil collects on the rim and drips down the pot. No idea where it's coming from.

On edit: Not Ficus, Devil's Ivy. Sorry.
