15. no, he was kidding.

he was trying to help me convince DH that he didn't want one. i knew that the student loan thing would be a deadly blow, as we have 5 college age kids matriculating with varying degrees of speed.

we think it will be 'doc'. he is sort of a therapy dog for our youngest (18), who is struggling with depression. we had a break in about a year ago, and she is still anxious at night. so, we are counting on doc to make her feel safe again.

we can't wait, and it is turning into a regular road trip. dad, said kiddo, and her brother, little cesar, all planning to drive down to get him. we all have our fingers crossed for some good weather, as she won't let us come down if it is snowing. some mountain driving between here and there and she wants everyone safe.
