it appears both cats like the new kidney food [View all]

i took fat cat to the vet a couple, three weeks ago and the doc suggested putting her on a kidney-friendly diet. finally had the money to pick it up today and put a handful out for each of the cats when i got home. fat cat gobbled it right up and squawked at me for more and dingbat -the pickiest kitteh i have ever known - ate it right up.

i'll keep putting it out as treats for a few days before i move it to the bowl just in case, but i think we lucked out. it was rather pricey but if it'll help fat cat feel better (and maybe put on a bit of weight), i am willing to shell out the money.

we'll go back to the vet in the spring to see if it's made a difference. she's a senior kitty but i want to keep her around as long as i can give her a good quality of life.
