My heart goes out to you, and to Gracie. Animals all have their own personalities. I have said goodbye to more than my share in this lifetime, their life span is too short. They DO know when they are loved and cherished, not all of them have families that treasure them. Gracie was a lucky little girl, and I am sure she knows it. I understand how it hurts, but the time comes when we have to love them enough to let them go.
