Gracie left peacefully this morning, and I held her until the very last moment. She didn't feel the tears I shed on her, but she is out of her pain at last, and I take comfort in that. Someday those tears will abate, and I'll keep in my heart the words you've posted. 'Twas indeed Heaven here with her. I'll cherish the memories.
