Just when I was walking the Cedar Valley Nature trail.

Used to be during the week 6 miles/day. On weekends 10-12 miles/day.

Now I am at 3 miles/day and 5-6 miles/day on weekends. I occasionally pull off a 10 mile/day, but not with the Border Collie. My feet and achilles tendons can't take it anymore. I row instead (about 45 minutes/day).

Saying goodbye to a dog is really hard. Glad you did have your time with your special dog. I talked with my daughter about end of life decisions with my older daughter last night. My boy and girl are no where near that, but you can see they are on the downward slide. My little girl wasn't able to jump into the bed with my daughter last night.
