1. I've been reading about these things and it's really scary.

And evidently, there are people searching the internet for posts warning people about them. My county shelter, where I got my deaf dog, posted about the chicken jerky treats on their facebook page. Most of us were concerned, but a few people showed up to post links to articles saying there is no problem with them. Someone called the county sheriff's office and threatened to sue the shelter and the county for posting false info about chicken jerky treats, so he deleted their facebook page. Hundreds of us were furious and let him know. He started a new facebook page, which after three days got only one "like" and finally, he let the volunteers take over the original page, but they had to change the name to "fans of" the shelter. The whole episode was just insane. and still, every store has these products which have killed hundreds of dogs and the FDA won't issue a recall. It's infuriating!
